A CHILDREN’S Trust that primarily supports orphaned children in Kenya, is hosting a charity meal at the River House in Frome on Saturday 13th October to raise money for their cause.
Mama Upendo Children’s Trust, who support 55 children at an orphanage in Kitui province, Kenya, is inviting the community to come and enjoy homemade African dishes made by Mama Sarah including coconut rice, lamb curry, fried chicken and more, plus a selection of desserts.
The cost is £20 per person for two courses with vegetarian and vegan options available. There is also a range of African cocktails and Tusker beer on sale. All proceeds will go to the registered charity. The event will take place from 7pm – 11pm. Please book early to avoid disappointment by contacting the River House direct on 01373 464847.
