Are you a teenager in a band? Do you know someone who is?
Frome Active are once again looking for teen bands to participate in Teen Band Sessions at the Grain Bar for their up coming sessions on October 23rd and November 22nd.
The all new Teen Sessions are a collaboration between the Cheese and Grain and Young People Frome and are funded by Awards for All. Once again the gigs themselves are being organised by Young People Frome young trainee Tallulah Bishopp with Dougie and Elliot, the Cheese and Grain’s new youth ambassadors.
Tallulah said, “It was really good last time but i have learnt from the experience and hope to make these even better. I am looking for any young musicians, solo or in a band, who can come and do anything from a song to a half an hour set. Please get in touch. It is such a privileged for teenagers to be able to play at a proper venue and will be a lot of fun. ”
The sessions themselves will be free to all teenagers and there will be a burger and milkshake bar takeover at the cafe. The hope is that, like the summer session, at least three bands will play at each session and there will be music in between, and hopefully they can become a regular session in the grain bar’s calender.
Budding musicians should get in touch with tallulah.ede@gmail.com or contact Frome Active on 01373 469071.
