The Frome Independent continues to be ‘more than a market’.
The Frome Independent returns on Sunday 3rd July with a whole heap of fun and activities. Outside the library find a caravan full of books and activities from How Brave is the Wren; get your hands dirty with clay and play dough fun with Doodlebug Club and Frome Jack in the Box Toy Library; plus taster activities from the brilliant Frome Children’s Festival ahead of their event on 10th July.
Meanwhile at the Market stage there will be a kid’s rock music workshop from Rocktopus at 11am and a stage takeover by Farmfestival later in the day, who’ll be warming up for their event in Bruton on 29th & 30th July. And Frome’s new Mayor, Toby Eliot, will be putting on his stilettos to lead Engaging Women’s event ‘Walk a Mile in Her Shoes’ at the stage at 12 noon.
“The Frome Independent works hard to be more than a market,” said Tabitha Clayson from Frome Independent. “It is a not-for-profit social enterprise that is completely independent receiving no ongoing funding. It is passionate about bringing the town together, supporting traders, local independent businesses, organisations and charities and it needs your support to survive and thrive. Join own Market Makers scheme now to support the work and reap the benefits with monthly offers from our traders as well as a range of Frome shops and businesses and get a free Reclaim the High Street shopper worth £10.
“Plus in July Farmfestival are offering Market Makers the chance to get 10% of adult weekend tickets and £30 off family tickets!”
You can join the Market Makers scheme at www.thefromeindependent.org.uk/friends or in person at The Frome Independent stall on market days.
