THE Old Bath Arms in Frome has announced its sponsorship of Frome Rugby Club for this coming season.
The 1st team will wear new kit which displays The Old Bath Arms logo and will have a sponsorship board at the ground.
Cameron Hastie, director and player at Frome Rugby Club said, “We are delighted that The Old Bath Arms has agreed to sponsor us this year. To have the support from a local business is important for the running of the club and we hope we can return the support by promoting the establishment.
“The Old Bath Arms has also very kindly offered a token for our Man of the Match, which will entitle the recipient to a free meal and drink at the pub.
“The club is very much looking forward to the new season. We have a new head coach, Toby Cuff, who is a former player at the club. He is passionate and dedicated and we are all looking forward to seeing what he brings to the club.”
Richard Findley from The Old Bath Arms said, “Rugby is my favourite sport and I jumped at the chance to sponsor the club when they approached me.
“It’s important to me that community activities and clubs are supported as this is the only way they will thrive and survive. I’m very impressed with their teams, especially the youth team. It’s important to nurture the young players as they are the future.
“I’m looking forward to the coming year and wish the whole club a successful season.”
