THE Wurzels are coming to Frome this month for a Christmas party to remember!
The iconic West Country band will be performing at Frome Town Football Club on Saturday 18th December, supported by Paul Star Disco.
Other events lined-up at the club include a children’s Christmas party on Tuesday 21st December, and a New Year’s Eve party to welcome in 2022.
Organisers Donna and Richard Blagdonwould, say, “The main event for adults is the Wurzels Christmas party. The band will play for a few hours, and afterwards, party-goers will have a chance to have a drink with them. The hall will be made up with haybales to give it a proper Somerset atmosphere. And to finish the evening Paul Starr will hold a late night disco.
“We then have a children’s party on the 21st December where every child will have a chance to meet Santa. There will also be a disco, face-painting and glitter tattoos.
“We then round the year off with a New Year’s Eve party. On the night we will be holding a charity raffle to raise money for Dorothy House. If anyone can donate prizes, it’s all gratefully received.”
