A theatre company in Frome has celebrated another successful year with a social evening including an awards ceremony, meal and a disco.
Frome Musical Theatre Company (FMTC) produces three shows a year, a traditional family pantomime, a musical in the spring and a youth production in the summer. The social evening, which was held at the Assembly Rooms last month, was celebrating recent shows, Calamity Jane, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Anything Goes.
During the evening, Star Awards were presented to members to recognise performances on stage.
An honorary award of Life Membership was presented by FMTC president Humphrey Barnes to a valued member of the company, Stephanie Hoar, and two National Operatic and Drama Association medals (NODA) were presented to Joni Carpenter and Jo Windel.
Members also enjoyed a three-course meal provided by James Morrison catering and a disco provided by Gary Williams.

The company is currently rehearsing for a one-night-only fundraising concert for the Frome Memorial Theatre centenary appeal on Saturday 19th October as well as for Sleeping Beauty, which runs from 28th December to 4th January.
