THREE Oakfield Academy pupils, Rose Sheldon, Lexi-Mai Hawker and Jasmine Summerell, were presented with a Citizenship Award after they went out of their way to look after another pupil and make sure they were safe on the way home from school.
The pupils were presented with the award by local police community support officers.
The Academy says, “We are extremely proud of these girls, who were all ready to tuck into their school Christmas dinner and so were very surprised with the presentation.”
