LOCAL charity Time is Precious raised £800 by running all day on a treadmill at Asda last week.
Time is Precious makes a difference to sick children and their families’ lives whilst in hospital, by helping to improve the environment. This can be anything from murals on the walls, to toys and colouring books for the children to play with.
Set up in memory of local youngster, Ben Halford, Time is Precious has contributed to major developments at the children’s ward and the booster therapy centre at the RUH in Bath, and the A&E paediatric waiting area and a play area in the children’s ward at Yeovil Hospital.
