Frome resident, Suzy Howlett, has come up with an idea to support the Westway and give a local family a treat at the same time.
Suzy saw an appeal on Nub News to help support the cinema. She came up with the idea that whilst supporting Frome’s cinema, local people could also give a local family a boost by buying seats on behalf of someone else.
Suzy said, “I popped along to the Westway who liked the idea, and spoke to Fair Frome, who liked the idea too. So here I am with a set of vouchers to be taken to Fair Frome, who will give them to a family. I hope they have a lovely trip. Wouldn’t it be good to start a trend? We could do a similar scheme for both the Westway and The Merlin Theatre. Who wants to join me in sponsoring a family and helping our cinema and theatre? Let’s get this going.”
