TRIBUTES have been coming in following the death of a former mayor of Frome, Alvin Horsfall, who died on 28th December.
Alvin was mayor from 2008-2009 and also served as a county, district, and town councillor.
The current mayor cllr Sara Butler said, “Alvin Horsfall was a thoroughly lovely man who by all reports from the staff who can remember his time at the council was always a joy to have around at the council offices, ready with a smile and a friendly word.
“He made an excellent mayor championing many good causes and helping raise money for charity, and our thoughts are with his friends and family at this time.”
