SOMERSET Wildlife have some exciting local events happening in the Frome area, great for both adults and children.
On Sunday 14th January at 10.30am join Eve Tigwell for a walk around Frome’s local wildlife site, Rodden Nature Reserve.
Rodden Nature Reserve was created to combat flooding from the River Frome. The wildlife that has been attracted to the reserve has led to its designation as a Local Wildlife Site, so go and see what’s around.
If you would like to participate in this event, please meet at the gate just beyond Asda Frome petrol station.
Unfortunately no dogs allowed and it is not suitable for wheelchair-users or those with limited mobility.
The event is free but donations welcome.
Then on Thursday 25th January 2018 at 7.30pm James Packer, an experienced birder and photographer will be hosting a talk about ‘Birding in the Land of the Summer People.’ Go and discover his exciting bird sightings in Somerset.
The talk will be in St Catherine’s Church Hall. Suitable for wheelchair users. Member’s fee of £2.50, non-members £3.00.
