Fair Frome Food Bank’s current urgent requirements are; coffee and tea, squash and juice, tinned snacks – e.g. beans and sausages, spaghetti bolognese, pasta and rice snacks, custard and cereal bears, sauces for rice and pasta.
Wendy Miller-Williams, coordinator, Fair Frome said, “We are occasionally asked for formula milk and nappies, too, so donations of these would also be most welcome.
“Due to the continuing demand placed on the local food bank, Frome is still struggling to cope, so being able to place a regular article in your newspaper is very helpful and much appreciated by us.
“There are food collection boxes in ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Frome Funeral Care at Badcox, Barnardos, Frome Whole Foods, Westway Co-op, and Tesco Express.
“All donations of non-perishable packet and tinned goods are very welcome, for example: instant snacks, tinned meat, tinned vegetables and tinned fruit, cereals, coffee, tea, rice sauces and pasta sauces.”
