A NEW and improved Fox and Hounds will be reopening in Tytherington in a couple of weeks, after the pub’s long-awaited makeover is complete.
The Fox and Hounds has always prided itself on its friendly atmosphere and delicious home cooked food. Now, 11 years after taking over the free house pub, Adam and Michelle have decided that it deserves a makeover.
“We want the Fox to have a modern, more open feel,” they tell Frome Times.
“After a lot of planning we decided to have a complete overhaul. It was looking a little dated and we don’t feel that that is a true reflection of how we view our hospitality.
“This exciting development will be taking place from Monday 5th September, so The Fox and Hounds will be closed for two weeks.
“Updates will be posted on our Facebook and Twitter pages. We look forward to sharing our fresh new look with everyone!”
Upon reopening, the pub will be known as ‘The Fox’ – A Country Restaurant and Grill. The opening times will remain the same.
Those of you that are fond of their very well-loved carvery need not worry! The carvery will still be running every Sunday in the Den after The Fox reopens.
The Den will also still be available for parties and functions over the Christmas period; if you would like to make a booking call 01373 473902.
