IF YOU haven’t got a pair of walking boots like Ebony’s – don’t worry – you can always buy some from one of the Dorothy House shops and then register with The Full Moon @ Rudge to do their fundraising ‘Walk to the Moon’ in aid of the hospice on Saturday 15th September.
The Full Moon continue to support the hospice with fundraising activities, and this year they’re organising a choice of sponsored walk (20, 13 or nine miles) which follow the Kennet & Avon towpath from Caen Lock to Seend Park Farm and part of the White Horse Trail from Steeple Ashton to Upton Scudamore. The finish passes through Chalcot Park and Dilton Marsh to Rudge.
Yvonne Brunton, community fundraiser said, “The Full Moon are stalwart supporters and always come up with fun ideas on how to raise money. The full walk is 20 miles but you can join the walk at different points and do a shorter 13 or nine miles. This walk is something that everyone in the family can get involved in – even the dog!”
