ON the second Saturday of May and June, Jim Parsons will be walking around the Frome Dissenters’ Cemetery and talking about the cemetery; some of its history; some of the people buried there, and plans for the future.
Organisers say, “Walks commence at 11am and will be no longer than an hour. Come along and visit this little oasis of green in Vallis Road on Saturday 14th May.
“If your family has resided in Frome for 100 years or more, you may discover ancestors buried here. If you are interested in social and local history, you may learn some interesting facts.
“The walk and talks are free - but if you feel it was worth it, donations towards upkeep will not be refused.”
