A message from We Hear You
Have you, or a member of your family had Covid-19? WHY’s team of expert counsellors are experienced in supporting people impacted by health related trauma and bereavement. In response to the current crisis we have developed a crisis support service specifically for those people affected by coronavirus. We can offer you support over the phone to help you cope with the emotional impact of Covid-19. Please contact us on 01373 455255 or email info@wehearyou.org.uk
We’re delighted to announce that we’re still able to run our eight-week mindfulness course for people living with and beyond cancer. The course starts this Saturday 25th April and will be held via Zoom. There are a few places available and we’d love a full group, so if you’d like to give it a try get in touch today to set up a pre-course chat with facilitator Chris Barker.
Excited to be able to bring our WHYoutdoors taster day to you on 6th May, run in partnership with our friends at The Natural Academy. It’s an opportunity for people living with and beyond cancer to find out more about how nature connection can help and is also open to family and friends. You don’t need access to wilderness – anything from your garden to a window box will work.

This Sunday, WHY are taking part in the Virgin Money London Marathon’s 2.6 challenge. The event aims to raise some of the event’s lost fundraising income for UK charities. Participants take on a micro-challenge with a 2.6 or 26 theme – which ties in nicely with our 26th anniversary #WHYworkout challenge. We’d love you to get involved, whether it’s a 26-question family quiz, eating 26 biscuits, skipping for 2.6 minutes…you get the idea. And please make a small donation or ask people to do it as a form of sponsorship
