Remember Rachel Clark and her brothers Daniel and Matthew Clark who pulled a 14 tonne coach through the streets of Frome last year?
Well the crazy threesome are looking for a new challenge that will be even bigger and better than last years. But, they need your help!
Rachel and her brothers sadly lost their mum to Leukaemia on 29th May in 2011. Every year since then on the anniversary of their mum passing away they set themselves a challenge which will raise money for local charity We Hear You (Formerly Positive Action on Cancer- PAC).
This year they want you to decide what their challenge should be and they are happy for your suggestions to push them to their limits!
Rachel Clark said, “Every year we want to do something positive on that day rather than sitting around and feeling sad. We’ve already run a half marathon, cycled from Frome to Lands’ end in 21 hours and last year we pulled the coach through Frome. Each year the challenges get bigger and this year we want to do something even crazier but we want the community to challenge us to something we might not have thought of!”
The only rules are that the team would like the challenge to be physical, they would like to keep it local to Frome if possible and they would like it to take place on 29th May this year. Last year Rachel, Daniel and Matthew drafted in the help of five mates who helped so the challenge could involve a few extra hands if necessary.
To challenge the team send your ideas to Rachel at rach75clark@gmail.com and Hannah Culff from We Hear You at Hannah.culff@wehearyou.org.uk Think creatively and no challenge is too great for this team! The reader whose idea is chosen will receive a small prize.
