January 31/01/19 recorded 15 mm of snow, this accumulation was recorded from a level board. The equation of snow to rain ration not yet investigated, therefore the January 2019 statistic may be higher. The average rainfall for a Frome January over the past 18 years = 95.5 mm.
So this January of 2019 was exceptional low, but not quite matching the January of 2006 when 31 mm was a low recorded statistic.

Highest N.T.T. = 9.0 Degrees C , recorded during the night 12/13, 13/14 /19.
There was recorded 11 mornings @ 0700 hrs visible ground & air frosts .
The average D.T.T. for this January 2019 = 5.8 Degrees C. The Average D.T.T. for January 2018 = 6.8 Degrees C. The Average D.T.T. for January 2017 = 2.0 Degrees C.
So on reflection this January of 2019 was 1.0 degree colder than 2018. All temperatures were recorded from within a S.S. from two different thermometers.
