THE Frome Third Age will be beginning their monthly meetings once again, starting from September.
“We’re Back! Frome Third Age meets again!” said a spokesperson for the group. “We’re beginning our monthly meetings on Friday September 10th at the Memorial Theatre Assembly Rooms at 2.00. The speaker will be Bel Deering from the West Hatch Wildlife Centre, Taunton, who performs valuable work rescuing wildlife in distress.
“We are a social group for the over 50s and we have an interesting talk every month, followed by refreshments and time to socialise. As well as the monthly meetings there are small Interest Groups covering a diverse range of subjects and activities, which also meet once a month. They are an ideal way to meet people with similar interests.
“If you are new to Frome, or perhaps just have some time to spare, Frome Third Age is ideal for making new friends and pursuing interests and hobbies in good company. We welcome new members so why not come along and give us a try.
