Paranormal experts on the hunt for ghost stories in Frome
A NEW local paranormal group is investigating the spooky goings-on in Frome.
Led by spirit medium Lee Jones, administrator Heather Furner, and technical lead and ‘sceptic’, Mark Higgins, the group has been hosting paranormal investigations across Somerset and Wiltshire. The group recently held an event last week at the Frome Memorial Theatre.
“The event had 10 delegates and there was frequent Facebook live broadcasts and posts from the event,” said Lee, who founded the group to prove the existence of spirits in any shape or form.
“See the Facebook page for what happened on the night! Search ‘Frome Paranormal’ on Facebook to follow us. We are currently in talks with the Frome tunnels group and Shepton Mallet prison to name a few, so watch this space!
“Some of the equipment that we use is as follows: Rem Pod, Spirit Box, K2 Meter, EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) recorders, DSRL cameras, mirrorless cameras, apps and smart devices. These devices are used to record evidence in different ways to detect paranormal activity.
“Electronic voice phenomenon’ detects any activity that comes across over electronic devices. It is common to record audio on location and ask questions out loud. You then listen to the recording after to see if there was any responses to the questions. Other devices listed detect different types of scientific changes at the location. The cameras record visuals as well as audio evidence.
“At a location such as Frome there is a lot of history and with history comes ghost stories. If you have experienced anything, contact Frome Paranormal and let us know, as we want to hear your story. We also want to know if you can suggest any locations that you know have unexplained activity or a reputation of being haunted.”
