IT’S all fun and games by the riverbank as rehearsals for Wind in the Willows are in full swing at the Merlin Theatre, with the chance to win a pair of free tickets (see Merlin Theatre Productions’ social media pages before 4pm, Friday 19th November for online entry).
Promoters say, “The cast, made up of local theatre enthusiasts from the town, are polishing up their singing, line-learning and even tap-dancing, ready for this year’s spectacular Christmas show.
“Much-loved characters, Mole and Ratty, will head up this classic family favourite story with six performance options from 8-10th December, including a ‘relaxed’ Saturday morning show for those who feel that staying in their seats or full sound and lighting effects might not be comfortable for them. The ‘relaxed’ show is part of the Merlin’s stated aims to offer an inclusive, community venue and it welcomes any questions patrons might have to allow greater accessibility.”
Wind in the Willows runs at The Merlin Theatre from 8-11 December. Full details and ticket information can be found at www.merlintheatre.co.uk
