TWELVE weeks have gone since David Jones has died and his partner, Kirsty Mills, is in search of his family in Frome to let them know of the terrible news.
Kirsty Mills was given the devastating blow a few months ago that her partner, David Jones, had suddenly died whilst serving for the Grenadier Guards in Kenya. Giving 18 years of service to the guards, serving in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan and being a part of the Queen’s birthday parade Trooping the Colour he sadly died on Saturday 12th August.
Unfortunately, he didn’t leave any family contact information with his Padre, leaving Kirsty with the fight of finding them, to let them know of David’s passing. She has found it a struggle, going on only a few bits of information.
Kirsty said, “All I can remember is of David speaking of three brothers but mainly spoke of one of them, Richard. Also, I think David may have worked in a local garage before joining the army. I really don’t know what else to do apart from seek help from his home town of Frome”
David was born on October 11th 1974 originally from Frome. If you recognise the man pictured or know of David’s family then please either contact us via news@frometimes.co.uk or email Kirsty at kirstyfmcosmetics@gmail.com
