THE damaged wooden steps leading from Henley Way to the riverside footpath that goes down to the Welshmill allotments have been cordoned off for several weeks. Frome Town Council says they will be repaired soon, following temporary closure.
“The wooden steps leading from Henley Way to The Other Side have been temporarily closed due to poor condition,” said Frome Town Council’s environment manager, Rob Holden.
“We are in the process of reviewing options for a replacement or possibly retaining the access-for-all ramp as the principal access route. Work to the site will take place shortly.”
