A workshop giving an overview of responsibilities new trustees should expect to encounter in their role is taking place on Thursday 21st April, at the Elliott Building behind Frome Town Hall.
Attendees can be confident in their new position – learning about charity law, duties, liabilities and skills in leading an organisation effectively.
The main aim of the workshop is based around a trustee’s role in fundraising. Although beneficial for new trustees, the workshop is open to those more experienced in the role.
To register on the course email admin@frometowncouncil.gov.uk or call 01373 465572 for more information. The workshop will run 6.00-9.00pm at the Elliott Building Christchurch Street West Frome (BA11 1EF). There is a fee of £10 per place and attendees are asked to pay ahead of the event.
The workshop is being delivered by Directory of Social Change, an independent charity which provides information and training to the voluntary sector.
