Frome Rotary Young Musician Competition was held at Selwood Academy on Friday 13th November.
There were 13 contestants aged from nine years to 17 years old from local schools and they played and sang to such a high standard the judges had a very difficult task to perform.
A sister and brother won first and second place with Eliza Talman age 14 the overall winner and Stan Talman age 12 in second place.
The judges Lyndy and Kerry Bishop have been involved with music education for young people in the Frome arena for over 35 years with a wealth of experience as both teachers and performers.
Eliza will now go on to compete in the Rotary Regional competition which will be held in February next year and Frome Rotary wish her the best of luck.
