Young performers from Frome Musical Theatre Company’s youth section will bring a classic musical to the stage next month.
Spellbound will perform Singin’ in the Rain at Frome Memorial Theatre from 6th to 8th August as part of its 2026 summer production.
Based on the 1952 film musical, the show is set in 1920s Hollywood and follows a film studio as it adapts from silent movies to “talking pictures”.
The production features songs including ‘Moses Supposes’, ‘Make ‘Em Laugh’, ‘Good Mornin’’ and ‘Singin’ in the Rain’.
Organisers say, “It’s a celebration of classic musical theatre, packed with comedy, romance and dazzling dance numbers.”
