LOCAL supermarket Asda has donated £1,000 to a Somerset-based organisation that aims to end homelessness.
Asda Community Colleague, Jackie Bryant, reports, “So very pleased to be able to present Sue Cross-Bourton from Root Connections with a cheque for £1,000. Root Connections is a totally amazing place helping the homeless in our area become self-sufficient and getting them off the streets. The money will be spent on gardening equipment.”
