A local family is aiming to run or walk to the height of Mount Everest to raise money for the NHS.
Helen and Jamie Kichenbrand and their children Alma (7) and Arthur (4) are currently a quarter of the way through an Everest family relay with them walking or running to the height of Mount Everest on Egford Lane Hill in Frome- in just 26 days.
“We are a few days in so far and have already got up to 6,000ft of the 29,029ft ascent,” said Helen. “We have calculated that we need to ascend Egford Lane hill 518 times between us.
“We are raising money for the NHS and would love to raise as much as possible! Here is a link to our just giving page where you can track our progress: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/everestfamilyrelay
