FROME Selwood Rotary have donated £3,600 to the Bath Cancer Unit Support Group who are raising money to purchase a state-of-the-art scanner for more effective treatment of cancer.
The Rotary club recently partnered with the Opus 111 choir for a performance at Wanstrow Village Hall which was a resounding success and raised £1,100. It was the choir’s first performance since 2019 and 100 people attended.
Opus 111 choir, based in Shepton Mallet, is led by Ann Stilton. They have previously partnered with Frome Selwood Rotary; however this was their first performance since the Covid pandemic.
