An amazing 660 years of combined service was recently recognised at an event in Frome.
The ceremony was held at Rowden House and celebrated long-serving staff from across a variety of Somerset Care’s services in the area, including 13 Frome-based staff members from the Mendip home care team, Critchill Court and Rowden House.
The long service ranged from 5 to a 35 years’ service, which was achieved by Victoria Lines from the Mendip home care team based in Frome. Victoria also works in the Emma Sheppard Centre (dementia active centre), based on the site of Rowden House in Frome.
Presentations were made by chairman, Angela Dupont and a management representative for each team. Angela thanked everyone for their continuous commitment to delivering high standards of care and support and making a difference to the lives of those they support.
The event was held in a marquee on the grounds of Rowden House and was decorated with a black and gold theme.
