The Cheese & Grain has new weekly classes for the youngest members of the community.
Wendyhouse Music is for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers every Tuesday in the main hall.
Wendy Steele has been entertaining families with lively songs and activities for children. After three years with Kindermusik, Wendyhouse Music was born, working with families for over nine years, Wendy has built up a varied wealth of experience.
Being a mini-micro businesswoman, Wendy is able to mould Wendyhouse Music to the children’s needs in class, with a philosophy of blending education, language and communication skills with fun music and movement songs, rhymes and activities. As a singer her aim is to inspire confidence in the children and adults, through them using their voice and body in a fun and relaxed way.
Wendy said, “Each class is as different as the children in it, as we organically blend the material to the group, movers are able to move, quiet children can observe and join in as and when they choose, questioners get the time they need and spark debate! Activities correspond to EYFS goals where appropriate and we can accommodate some SEN.”
The music ranges from folk, world, blues, latin, country and traditional to rock n roll, all with a childish twist, singing all the way. Everyone is welcome and there is something for everyone!
It costs £4 per week, per child paid monthly, siblings discount available. Contact
