Frome Poetry Cafe on 13th May, will feature as guest the award-winning eco-poet and ex-Fromie Helen Moore, who is returning especially to launch her new collection ‘The Mother Country.’
Work by Frome artist Marian Bruce provided the cover for this remarkable collection, in which Helen explores the legacies of the British Empire on current society and ecology.
As usual there will also be the popular Open Mic session, where everyone is welcome to share an original poem.
Frome Poetry Cafe will be held from 7.30pm-9.30pm at the Garden Cafe, £2 at the counter on entry – drinks, snacks, and a friendly group guaranteed.
