FROME’S Oakfield Academy is celebrating success in its geography department.
Head of humanities at the school said, “Huge congratulations to pupils and staff within the Oakfield Academy geography department for helping to achieve the status that can be declared worthy of the Secondary Geography Quality Mark. After receiving more detailed feedback, we are incredibly proud that the panel of assessors highlighted specifically how Oakfield pupils consistently take pride in their learning and can recognise the importance of geography in their everyday lives.
“A wonderful achievement for both our current pupils and those who have recently moved on to year nine for their continued effort and ambition in their learning. Well done!”
