TRIO Paradis is performing a lunchtime concert on Thursday 3rd November at Christ Church at 1.15pm (café from 12.45pm), called Travelling with the Gypsies.
The concert starts at 1.15pm and lasts 50mins, and entrance is by pay-what-you-feel donation. Children are welcome. Refreshments – tea, coffee and home-made cakes – are available in half an hour before the concert. No need to book, just turn up – and maybe bring a cushion for the pew! More details are on the trio’s Facebook page @trioparadisbath and website http://www.trioparadis.com
Trio Paradis consists of Jacquelyn Bevan on piano, Lisa Betteridge on violin, and Linda Stocks on the cello and they perform a lunchtime concert on the first Thursday of each month at Christ Church. This is an informal feel-good music event with a pop-up café where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes.
November performance is a lively programme of music by Dvorák (Songs My Mother Taught Me, movements from Dumky Trio), Bartók Romanian Dances and Haydn’s Gypsy Rondo, along with various Czardas.
