The February Quiz Night organised by the Lions Club of Frome attracted 17 teams who answered questions on 10 different subjects and attempted to correctly identify 30 well known people in the picture quiz.
This proved a little more difficult than usual as the winning team of Bob Monger, Bob Maynard, and John and Claire Tanner could only manage 22 correct answers. The winners of the main quiz were Terry Carter, Judy Annan and Jack and Sheila Jones with a score of 95 points out of a maximum of 110, closely followed by Jed Clatworthy and June, Phil and Bob Ashworth with 94 points.
The event raised £250 for the Lions’ Charity Fund, used to help needy organisations and individuals in the Frome area.
