FROME Rotary Club recently held a charity bicycle raffle.
Rotary publicity officer Margaret Gilmour said, “A bike made by students at Frome College was used to raise £263 to help fund the Kids Out event at Longleat.
“Frome Rotary held the bike draw in the town centre on Friday 12th June. The winning number was drawn by Charlotte Compton from the Shaw Trust, and the lucky winner was well known local thespian, Humphrey Barnes.
“Mr Barnes has decided to donate the bike to a charity auction, which will be held in August to raise funds for Dorothy House.”
