“Quorum Baroque”, a group of musicians with authentic period instruments, will give an early evening concert on Sunday 29th April at 6.30pm at Christ Church, Christchurch Street West in Frome.
The programme will include the wonderful Bach “Double Violin Concerto” and more concertos for organ, recorder and four violins by Handel, Telemann and Croft. Also the musicians will perform the rarely-heard incidental music for Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” by the seventeenth century composer, Matthew Locke.
Tickets (£12 full price/ £10 concessions) will be available at the door. The concert will be free for children. Refreshments will be available from 6pm.
