COME and party in the amazing grounds of Corsley House to celebrate American Independence Day – the American way!
About the event, to be held on Saturday 2nd July, 6pm to 10.30pm, organisers say, “Feast on traditional American burgers, slaw and hot dogs in the Walled Garden, cooked by the internationally renowned Roth Bar in Somerset.
“With music originating in Detroit, Michigan, dance your heart out with the 12-piece Motown Gold, coming all the way from the hot spots of London town. And then as night arrives, watch the ginormous firework display against the backdrop of ancient Cley Hill.
“Tickets are £20 for adults; £10 for 14-18 years; free for under 14 years, and for this you get the historic Corsley House gardens, Motown Gold music, the firework display, and a night to remember.
“You can bring your own picnic, or treat yourself to the food, wine and beer on sale. As payback for Independence in 1776, the American landlords of Corsley House are generously donating the proceeds of this party to the churches and community of Corsley and Chapmanslade.”
