A WOMAN has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) after an incident on Bath Street yesterday (Thursday 17th September) – and police are appealing for witnesses.
The police report, “A woman in her 20s from Frome has been arrested on suspicion of GBH following an incident on Bath Street, Frome, shortly before 1am this morning (Thursday 17th September) in which a man in his mid-20s sustained knife wounds.
“She remains in custody at this time and enquiries are ongoing. A cordon was put in place at the scene to facilitate an investigation, but has now been lifted, and police patrols are being stepped up in the area.
“The victim was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries and has since been discharged. Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information that could assist with their investigation.
