EVENTS coming up this April at Winstone’s trading as Hunting Raven Books will not want to be missed by the book lovers of Frome.
“On Tuesday the 3rd of April, David Lassman (Frome in the Great War) and Mick Davis (Historic Inns of Frome) will be talking about their new book ‘The Awful Killing of Sarah Watts’. The story of Frome’s most infamous murder made famous by the best-selling book ‘The Suspicions of Mr Whicher.’
“They will be recounting the shocking details of this 1851 murder on an isolated farm near Frome, and the incredible events that transpired from it. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start.
“On Friday the 13th of April, Tyler Keevil will be joining us to celebrate the UK launch of his new novel ‘No Good Brother.’
“A rip-roaring tale of ‘loyalty, love, danger and family’ The event will blend music, dramatized readings, and discussion of the book’s creation, with the musical aid of his Brother Jonathan. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start,
