AUTHOR David Almond visited Selwood Academy to talk to year 7 and 8 pupils about his new book ‘The Colour of the Sun’.
David Almond is also the author of ‘Skellig’ and ‘My Name is Mina’ and many other novels. His innovative, boundary-breaking work is loved by readers of all ages.
The pupils at Selwood had the opportunity to meet him and ask questions about their own reading, writing and have their books signed.

Author of children’s fantasy novel ‘Skellig’, which was later made into a film, David captured the audience with stories of his life and the books that he has written. This was followed by a lively Q&A session.
