CANCER counselling charity, We Hear You (WHY) is launching a ‘September Superstars’ fundraising campaign this autumn and is calling on you to get involved!
Fundraising officer Helen White says, “It’s been a tough 16 months for everyone, and at WHY we’re proud to be here for anyone affected by Covid-19, cancer or any life-threatening condition. Our community fundraising is instrumental in helping us do it, so we’re absolutely delighted to be launching our September Superstars campaign.
“We’ve got lots on offer, including sponsored skydives, bucket collections, our annual Toddle Waddle event for pre-schoolers in Frome and Street, wellbeing and self-care events, a new sponsored walking challenge and a certain world record attempt…keep an eye on wehearyou.org.uk/fundraising for opportunities to get involved.
“You can also come up with your own ideas – a superstar-themed dress down day at work or school, a cake sale, a sponsored silence – whatever you choose to do, we can help you plan and promote your event and we’ll put every penny you raise to very good use.”
