It’ll be a “Blues ‘n’ Boogie Christmas” once again on Sunday evening 22nd December, when the dynamic Pete Gage Band play their regular Christmas show at the Cornerhouse pub.
Pete and his stellar bunch of musicians will no doubt be packing out the back room once again as they do each year, bringing their unique brand of “happy” blues and rocking boogie. It’s a countdown to Christmas Day in style.
Ever lively, and always displaying total professionalism, Pete’s informal relationship with the audience, remains a great attraction.
The band will include its regular line-up of guitar virtuoso Paul Hartshorn, popular tenor saxophonist Craig Crofton, plus the driving force of Richie Blake on bass and Eddie John on drums. Pete leads from the keyboard, his gritty vocals cutting through to bring back memories of his lead vocal days with internationally acclaimed R&B band Dr Feelgood.
The band will get proceedings under way at 8.30pm. It’s admission free, but it will be advisable for anyone who wants a piece of the action to get there early.
