THE FROME Festival will be officially opened this year by the Bollywood Brass Band on Friday 7th July at the Cheese and Grain.
Presenting their colourful show “Rahmania!” the Bollywood Brass Band is a group of London-based musicians and dancers specialising in the music of Bollywood movies. With film projection, authentic instrumentation, and vivid costumes, the band presents entrancing and compulsively danceable music in a wild exhilarating evening of entertainment.
The show is seated but with space to dance, beginning at 8pm. The Indian buffet which precedes “Rahmania” has already sold out, but the bar will be open throughout the evening, creating party atmosphere to ring in the 17th Frome Festival which lasts until Sunday 16th July and features nearly 200 events.
