FROME Selwood Bowling Club is taking part in the ‘bowls England big weekend’ open day on Sunday 29th May from 11am to 4pm at Butts Hill, Frome BA11 1HS.
The club said, “Are you looking for a new pastime? Have you ever watched bowls on the television? Have you ever thought you would like to play the sport? We have an open day for people to try their hand at bowls.
“The day will give the people of Frome the opportunity to try their hand at and experience the game of Lawn Bowls in a friendly and social environment. The day is open to both men and women of all ages and abilities who would like to see if the game is for them.”
