Frome College year 9 student, Alfie Symes, has been selected for the British Canoeing’s Canoe Slalom England talent programme.
The head of talent for British Canoeing said, “Alfie has been selected because we see a great deal of potential in him, and we wish to support and accelerate his development further. We are hopeful that one day we will see him achieve success on a significant level on the world stage.”
The college said, “Congratulations to Alfie Symes in Year 9 on his outstanding achievement being selected for the regional canoeing development squad. Good luck to him for the future.”
