FROME-based befriending charity, Active and In Touch, held a fundraising baking masterclass on Saturday 3rd December, with Great British Bake Off finalist, Brendan Lynch.
Coordinator at the charity Di Roberts said, “Active and in Touch would like to thank Brendan Lynch, for his brilliant master class, showing the audience how to make three scrummy Christmas recipes.
“We had a full house of eager bakers and made £570; some of the money raised was from four separate cakes Brendan had made for the raffle. The feedback has been brilliant so far, thanks also to our volunteers who baked some cakes for our guests to have before the demonstrations started. Last but not least, thank you to Frome Town Council and to Sean Powell for his technical back up.
“The event will be available on the Active and In Touch website, www.activeandintouch.org and on You Tube very soon!”
