A family-run cidery has had a busy summer introducing a new range of canned ciders and supplying festivals across the country.
Lilley’s Cider, based at Roewood Farm, Frome, has brought some of its flavours into cans, with the new range particularly suited to festivals.
Marketing coordinator Lauren Edwards said, “There is a good selection of canned flavours available. Cans work particularly well at festivals because they’re easy to chill, serve and enjoy, while giving people the opportunity to try different flavours.”
Lilley’s Cider started in 2007 and is owned and run by father and son Chris and Marc Lilley. The independent company has put some of its cocktail flavours into cans, including passionfruit martini, piña colada and raspberry lemonade, alongside some of its more traditional ciders.
The new range has been supplied to festivals including Ranch Jam Festival, Soul Disco Society, Beacon Park Tribute Festival, Supersonic Weekender, the Back 2 Festival and Dubs of Rock Festival.
“Our ciders are made here in Frome and we’re proud to create drinks that are made with real fruit juice,” Lauren added. “We enjoy offering something a little different and want there to be a Lilley’s for everyone.”
