On 7th June, Frome-based businesses will have the chance to visit DNA Worldwide Group and gain an insight into the world of genetics.
DNA Worldwide Group is a fast growing, family business providing support to clients who are looking to establish a point of truth within their lives.
From DNA testing, drug and alcohol testing to forensic services, the business is made up of DNA legal for the legal market, DNA family for home testing and living DNA for ancestry testing. The company will be hosting the latest event in the Frome Business Breakfast series, supported by Frome Town Council and Frome and District Chamber of Commerce.
Firms located on Frome’s business parks face a number of unique challenges, as well as concerns such as transport links and broadband. This will be an excellent opportunity for the business community of Frome to come together and tackle common issues.
Frome Town Council will launch a business transport survey at the event, gauging: how employees get to work; what employers could be doing to help and how businesses can be supported and work together on this issue.
Frome Town Council’s Resilience Officer Anna Francis said, ‘Particularly in rural locations like Frome, transport poses a major barrier to achieving social, economic and environmental goals. By working together on this through lift shares, cycle to work schemes and bus schemes, local businesses can make a real difference to their employees, community and wider environment.”
The event will take place 7-8.30am on Tuesday 7th June at DNA Worldwide, Unit K10, Commerce Park. Any business or organisation operating in Frome is welcome to attend. The cost is £10 on the door and includes a delicious breakfast. Please contact Laura Parry on parryl@frometowncouncil.gov.uk or 01373 475574 to register your place.
