WITH over 260 events planned in the biggest-ever Frome Festival, some large-scale shows have gone up for sale due to demand.
Early tickets can now be purchased for all Festival events taking place at the Cheese and Grain directly from the hall’s box office, including DJ Jo Whiley; singer-songwriter Andy Fairweather Low; TV historian David Olusoga; the Kris Barras Band, and singer-guitarist Wilko Johnson.
Events taking place at the Ecos Amphitheatre and Merlin Theatre are currently available directly from the Merlin’s box office. Performances taking place on these Frome College based venues include poet Roger McGough; jazz band Radio Banska; a Frome College Centenary Concert, and three performances of a new musical entitled ‘The Haunting of Richard the Third’, written by Festival Director Martin Dimery and with music by David Hynds, with a local cast.
The Memorial Theatre will host the vocal harmony group Blake in the Frome Festival, and tickets are now exclusively available from the theatre’s box office.
Look out too for advanced sales for some great music and social events at the Silk Mill. Online sales are currently available for these through the venue’s website.
For other events, the official box office opening day is from Friday 20th May for Festival Friends, and Sunday 22nd May for the general public.
Organisers will ensure a quota of tickets still remain available for all events from 20th May from the Festival’s central box office at the Cheese and Grain, in order that the public can buy all their tickets on a single day at one point of purchase.
